Michael Ziersch
Mike studied audio engineering and some of his previous roles included event lighting hire, a technician in the gaming and wagering industry and an expert for one of Australia’s largest LED suppliers.
He brings to VAF his ability to understand the technical aspects of our products, as well as a passion for excellent customer service.
His exceptional attention to detail and excellent communication skills will ensure that VAF customers continue to experience the VAF VIP treatment they deserve.

Nick Ataliotis
Nick has an Associate Diploma in audio/visual engineering from RMIT, has worked in Europe doing live sound engineering and PA installations for events, worked with several electronics companies, as well as owning several successful businesses in Victoria. He has been designing and building his own speakers for over 30 years, both passive and active.He is a dyed-in-the-wool audiophile, is extremely passionate and driven yet very humble and down to earth. He is very excited to carry on the legacy of our previous well known designers such as Philip Vafiadis, Simon Wilde and Marty Jones, and create the next generation of our legendary loudspeakers.
Craftsman
Ted Grygorcewicz
Ted is the manufacturing craftsman of our beautifully hand made products.
Ted is our longest serving staff member having joined VAF all the way back in 1993, and having worked in the audio industry since 1985…although his passion for purity in sound reproduction started well before then. If you have ever owned a pair of VAF speakers, it is very likely that they were hand made by Ted.
Ted is key to keeping the whole manufacturing process ticking, not only meticulously building and assembling VAF loudspeakers, he also hand winds and personally makes several of the important components. With nearly 30 years’ experience in making our bespoke products, Ted is more than qualified to make any speaker that we ask him to, and he always does it with a smile on his face.
Ted’s attention to detail extends to his passion for looking after his cars and is also an accomplished guitarist having played in bands for over 25 years - he just loves music!
